Ole Jann
Odborný asistent na CERGE-EI, Univerzitě Karlově a výzkumný pracovník na Národohospodářském ústavu AV ČR. Dříve působil jako Vědecký pracovník pro postdoktorskou cenu na Nuffield College Oxfordské univerzity. Je držitelem titulu Ph.D. z Kodaňské univerzity v Dánsku. Je teoretikem aplikované ekonomie, jehož hlavním výzkumným tématem je role informací v ekonomice a ve společnosti.
He is Assistant Professor at CERGE-EI, as well as Assistant Professor at CERGE, Charles University, and a Researcher at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He was previously a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College at the University of Oxford. He holds a PhD. from the University of Copenhagen, Denmark. He is an applied economic theorist whose main research interest is in the role of information in the economy and in society.
Pavel Kocourek
Postdoktorand na Národohospodářském ústavu AV ČR. Je držitelem titulu Ph.D. z New York University. Jeho výzkum se zaměřuje především na teorii her, průmyslovou organizaci a stochastickou optimalizaci.
Postdoctoral fellow at the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. He hold a PhD. from the New York University. In his research he focuses on the game theory, industrial organization and stochastic optimalization.
Jakub Steiner
Docent a člen výkonného a dozorčího výboru CERGE-EI: Působí jako výzkumný pracovník na Národohospodářském ústavu AV ČR. Od května 2014 je docentem na Univerzitě Karlově. Od roku 2013 je profesorem University of Edinburgh. V letech 2009 až 2013 byl docentem na Kellogg School of Management na Northwestern University. Dříve také pracoval jako odborný asistent na University of Edinburgh. V letech 2000-2002 pracoval jako sociální pracovník pro romskou komunitu. Ve svém výzkumu se zaměřuje na teorii her a ekonomickou teorii; chování ve strategických situacích s možností seberealizujících proroctví, jako jsou ta, která vznikají během měnových útoků, běhů bank a revolucí.
An Associate Professor, and a member of the Executive and Supervisory Committee of CERGE-EI, and a Senior Researcher at the Economics Institute of the CAS. Since 2013, he has also been a Professorial Fellow at the University of Edinburgh. Between 2009 and 2013, he has been an Assistant Professor at the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University. Prior to that, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the University of Edinburgh. He worked as a social worker for a Roma community from 2000-2002. In his research he focuses on game theory and economic theory; behavior in strategic situations with the possibility of self-fulfilling prophecies such as those that arise during currency attacks, bank runs, and revolutions.
