 O AUTORECH / ABOUT THE AUTHORS  Oleg Sidorkin Joined IDEA as a researcher in October 2015. He earned his M.A. in Economics from CERGE-EI in 2008 and PhD. Degree in Economics in 2017 from CERGE-EI as well. In his research he focuses on economics of innovation, political economy and applied microeconomics. Martin Srholec Earned his PhD. degree in Economics from the University of Economics, Prague in 2003 and in Science, technology and innovation studies (2005) from the University of Oslo, Norway in 2005. From 2002 until 2010 he was based at the TIK centre, University of Oslo, Norway. Since 2010 he works as a Senior Researcher at CERGE-EI, the Economics Institute of the Czech Academy of Sciences. Since 2011 he is Associate Professor in CIRCLE, Lund University, Sweden.
