ABOUT THE AUTHORS

       Jana Bakalová

         Jana Bakalová received her MA degree in sociology at the Faculty of
         Philosophy, Charles University. She has experience with data and fieldwork
         projects from her previous work with the SCaC survey agency. Currently, she
         is a SHARE data researcher at the Economics Institute of the Academy of
         Sciences of the Czech Republic.

       Radim Boháček

         Radim Boháček is a Senior Researcher at the Economics Institute of the
         Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic since 2000. Since 2006, he has
         been a Country Team Leader of the SHARE project (Survey of Health,
         Retirement and Ageing in Europe), an European Research Infrastructure
         Consortium. He received his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of
         Chicago, and a M.A. in Social Sciences and History, also from the University
         of Chicago. Research topics: general equilibrium models with heterogeneous
         agents, optimal fiscal and monetary government policies, dynamic
         macroeconomic theory.

       Daniel Münich

         Daniel Münich is an Associate Professor at CERGE-EI, a joint workplace of
         the Charles University and the Economic Institute of the Academy of Sciences
         of the Czech Republic where he serves as executive director of think-tank
         IDEA. He received his Ing. degree in Electrical Engineering in from the Czech
         Technical University in Prague, and Ph.D. in Economics from the Charles
         University. He is doing empirical, academic and policy oriented research in
         areas of labor economics, economics of education and schooling, and R&D.
         With his expertise, he has served as an advisor in numerous domestic and
         international organizations.
