Retirement and Cognitive Abilities Graph 3.6 shows that labour market participation falls rapidly among people with good cognitive abilities after they reach the statutory retirement age (see Mazzonna and Peracchi (2012)). It should be noted that, for both men and women, the Czech Republic and Western countries share a similar index after age 60.
