KEYNOTE SPEAKER: Patrick Gaule - Associate Professor in Economics at the University of Bristol andco-founder of the Global Talent Lab and the Global Talent Network
COME TO LEARN:
• What are the best ways to support mathematically gifted children?
• Possible approaches include grade-skipping, in-person training camps, tutoring, weekly math circles, and specialized schools.
• Inspiration sparked by the Global Talent Lab and Global Talent Network projects offering virtual courses for gifted children and evaluating their impact.
The lecture will be followed by a discussion and introduction of RSJ Foundation activities including the TALENT project to support the agendas of gifted children in the Czech Republic.
